This month was not an easy one! As Mara grows, she’s needing a bit more attention than she did as a fresh newborn and I also want to spend more time playing with her and watching her learn new things. That means that there is a lot less time for me to get work done, which is something I need in my life to maintain sanity (lol), but with a busy quarter coming up, I need to figure this new work-life-baby balance thing out.
Although there were some lows this month and it felt at times like I was getting nowhere, I know that the upcoming quarter is going to be a wild one. Q4 is go-time for bloggers with Halloween, Black Friday, Holiday Gift Guides and New Year content. I have big aspirations for this quarter and so I gave myself a bit of a pass this past month to get ahead. Instead of beating myself up for not posting as much as usual, I allowed myself to take a pause and prep for what’s to come.
And there are a lot of exciting things coming up over the next few months, and I’m so looking forward to sharing them with you! We have tons of Halloween and Thanksgiving content coming in October, Holiday Gift Guides launching in November and Santa Sammy will be back in December. There is also a major collaboration coming, something that I am very proud of, that I can’t wait to share in a few weeks!

- Finalized details for my upcoming collaboration.
- Took a pause and enjoyed life a little bit! I got back to playing soccer, working out and spending quality time with my family.
- I was able to button up a pair of jeans! Huge win.
- Published 10 blog posts in September. These were my top three blog posts of the month:
