I have always loved adding a little something special to my outfit with jewelry. A touch of sparkle instantly takes a casual outfit to another level, and since casual is pretty much all I want to wear these days, that little bit of sparkle really helps.
If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that most of my jewelry is from Lavender & Grace. The owner, Kayla, is a super cool, young entrepreneur and she makes such beautiful pieces! The newest Lavender & Grace collection launches today, so I thought I would share some tips on how to transform an outfit with jewelry.
+ Start with a good pair of hoop earrings
It doesn’t matter if I’m wearing a ball cap and mascara or have my hair perfectly curled and a full face of makeup, I love adding a pair of small hoop earrings to my look to draw attention up toward my eyes and add some sparkle. I wear the Maisy Hoops and Posie Hoops all the time, and I’m loving the Blaire Hoops from the new collection!
+ Layer necklaces to suit the neckline of your top
I wear the Spencer Herringbone Necklace pretty well every day, but I like to switch up and layer my other necklaces to suit the neckline of the top I’m wearing. If I’m wearing a crew neck, I’ll typically opt for shorter-length necklaces, like the new Blake Chain Necklace, to pair with the Spencer. If I’m wearing a V-neck or deeper scoop neck top, I will layer with the Devyn Necklace or Indie Necklace.
+ Don’t leave the house without some arm candy!
I’m not talking about your man! I very rarely take my wrist stack off. I think that a stack of bracelets looks great with any outfit. I always have a couple of Love Bracelets on with my Bambi Bracelet. I like to add a thicker Love Bracelet, the Brinn Bangle, and the Capri Bracelet for some extra sparkle when I’m dressing up a t-shirt dress for shopping or a cute top and jeans for date night.
