Now that the holiday season has officially come to an end, I’ve been busy getting organized again. I’m feeling reinvigorated when it comes to work, and trying to put less pressure on myself, so it’s been nice to find my groove there again. I’ve also been implementing new ways to get organized with the house and everyday life as well though. How does one take care of all the things AND keep a clean house? Please share your secrets!
This week, on my mission to get organized, I created a bit of a weekly schedule for myself. It’s definitely one of the perks of self-employment to be able to set your own schedule. I felt like the cleanliness of the house was totally getting away from me, and it’s hard to focus on work when you’re in the middle of a mess, so I scheduled a cleaning day during the week. Here’s what my schedule looks like at the moment:
Monday – Content Day – Shoot photos, Reels + TikToks, write blog posts, schedule content in LTK Shop.
Tuesday – Client work, create outfit boards, Pinterest scheduling.
Wednesday – Household Day – Clean the house, do laundry, spend lots of time playing with Mara.
Thursday – Client work, create outfit boards, planning day.
Friday – Content Day – Shoot photos, Reels + TikToks, write Weekly Recap
This week went really well with the new schedule! Is my house clean? No, but it’s closer to being clean – lol. I’m hoping that this schedule makes it easier for me to get shit done, and have extra time with Mara, the dogs, and Kirby.
Outside of work, we didn’t do a whole lot this week. We went for some nice family walks, Mara had her first sleepover at Grama and Grampa’s, and Kirby and I played a doubleheader. Mara also started sitting on her own this week – I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting!
I also did an Instagram takeover with MAN+WOMAN and tried on a bunch of cute clothes. Speaking of clothes…
