I’m not going to lie – I totally thought Mara would be wearing a variety of cute outfits from the start, but I’ve learned that newborn outfits should be practical first, cute second.
I’d love to dress Mars up in cute dresses or sweaters, but I can’t bring myself to let her spit up all over them – lol. We like to dress her in footed onesies with foldover mitts to keep her from scratching or a basic bodysuit with some shorts or sweatpants. Baby bandanas have also proved useful with the spit up!
We have a bunch of these printed pajamas and Mara wears them all the time! They come in handy to prevent her from scratching her face, which is one of her favourite activities…
These Kyte Baby bodysuits are the SOFTEST pieces of clothing we have for Mara. They are worth every penny.
H&M has great multipacks of bodysuits for baby at great prices. I ordered a few packs of these kimono bodysuits and Mara wears them with a bandana and joggers.
These are similar to the printed pajamas but seem to have a bit more give in them. Great for our growing little girl!
Mara’s grandparents got her this cutie set from Lolo and Spence. We like to mix and match her t-shirt and shorts with other pieces of her wardrobe.
Another adorable printed PJ!
Can’t forget the shades! They didn’t stay on long, but they sure are cute!
Mara may not be wearing pretty dresses and knit sweaters, but her newborn outfits are still super cute and practical. I hope that this little model is prepared to wear tons of cute outfits as she gets older, and get her photo taken often! The life of a blogger’s kid…
