One Year of Blogging + Top 10 Posts of the Year

Holy sh*t you guys. I can’t believe I have been blogging for one whole year! I thought by this time I’d be fresh out of ideas and scraping together reposts, but here we are going strong!

I knew that starting a lifestyle blog was the right path for me and I have enjoyed every second of it. Approaching blogging as a career has come with many challenges, including a significant drop in my income and some major imposter syndrome, but I have never been so confident in a career choice.

One Year of Blogging + Top 10 Posts

It’s wild. I haven’t made this little money since I was in high school, yet I have no doubts that my determination and ambition will help me to grow this blog into a full time career and a space that readers will come back to again and again. I also believe that one day, my brand will transcend the pages of this blog and serve others in a variety of ways.

You can’t stop a girl with a dream!

One year in and I have reached readers across the globe, created incredible friendships online and yes, I have made money from my passion. I cannot wait to see what the next few years of SammmyHill.com will bring and what they will look like.

As I look back on the year, I reflected on the blog posts that have made the greatest impact so far. Here are my top 10 posts for my first year of blogging!

I’m so proud and happy to see that my top 10 posts cover a variety of topics, from business to wellness, shopping and home renovations, life milestones and even a post about how we treat one another. Seeing this lineup reassures me that going the “lifestyle” route was the right choice, despite all of the advice out there to “niche down”.

I am so grateful to every single person that has read a post, shared a post, followed me on Instagram or Facebook, purchased something through one of my links or supported me in any way. Who’s ready for year two?!

I’d love to know what you like about the blog and what kind of posts you’d like to see in the future! If you have any thoughts or feedback, please send me a DM or an email at sammy@sammmyhill.com.

xoxo, Sammy
