I chose a work from home career, but I know that a lot of you didn’t, yet it has become your new reality. Some of you may love working from the comfort of your own home and some of you may miss the office. For those first few months, you probably enjoyed staying in your sweats. There was no commuting to work, going for drinks with coworkers, or having to pick an outfit each morning. But that got tired after a while, and you started to miss putting together a great outfit for the office.
Not to worry! I’ve got you covered with some fresh work from home outfits that look cool, but are still totally comfortable. You’re totally going to be looking forward to Zoom calls to show off your outfit!
Relaxed fit trousers are trending lately and there are lots of great options in stores right now. These pants can be dressed up with a button-up shirt for a professional look, but they are still super comfy. This outfit is perfect for Zoom calls with clients or your boss from the couch!
Business on top, extreme comfort on the bottom. I love a good bike short and blazer combo. I layered my black blazer over a long sleeve graphic tee for an edgy look.
Sweatshirt and leggings, but make it cool. To add some interest and style to a basic sweatshirt and leggings, I added crew socks, a think turtleneck layer, and some hoop earrings. This look is so comfortable and great for days that you’re balancing work with parenting or household duties.
This look is probably my favourite and most worn work from home outfit! Start with a high neck bodysuit and add your favourite jeans. To polish this look off I added some pointed-toe slingbacks and a colourful sweater draped over my shoulders. I like to wear something like this when I need to feel inspired for my work!
Just because you’re working from home does not mean you have to skip the whole ‘getting dressed’ part of the day. These work from home outfits are comfortable, but put-together enough to make you look and feel like the badass career woman you are. Even if you don’t have any Zoom calls planned, a cool outfit can still help you to feel like you’re at work rather than just tapping away at your laptop on the couch.
Do you like to get dressed for a work from home day or would you rather get miles out of your pajamas?
