What I Want For Winter Workwear

I may not work in an office anymore, but I still need a closet of winter workwear essentials for meetings and also to prevent me from wearing sweatpants every day…

I live in Southern British Columbia, where the winters are fairly chilly, but manageable, and there is a lot of snow! A good coat and durable boots are absolute necessities between November and March.

If you need some inspiration for the office this winter, I’ve put together some of my favourite winter workwear looks and staples!

Sweaterdress with Tall Boots

A cozy sweaterdress paired with tall boots is a perfect outfit for the office during the winter months. I would add sheer or playful tights for a little extra warmth!

Waterfall Sweater Coat with Leggings

How many of you work in an office that feels below 0 all winter? ?????

That was definitely the case for me when I worked in an office, and a sweater coat was absolutely necessary. Add some faux leather leggings and a turtleneck sweater and you’re set!

Oversized Blazer with Denim

This outfit is perfect for an office with a casual dress code. Stay warm in an oversized, structured blazer and a pair of straight denim – no rips! And if you live somewhere that is covered in snow, maybe commute in some boots before swapping to heels.

Oversized Blazer // Jeans // Heels

Puff Sleeve Top with Denim

Love this look! Again, it’s a more casual workwear outfit, but also super versatile. I’m digging the puff sleeves with the pointy toe flats.

Winter Workwear Staples

Ankle booties that go with any outfit.

A classy wool coat.

A stylish laptop bag with lots of pockets.

Sleek wide leg trousers.
