Working from home can be tough. I get distracted easily, especially by mess, so I am in need of a well-designed, clean home office to get shit done in!
We recently moved our desk into a smaller room in the house so that there are fewer distractions when we’re working. The room definitely needs some work, so I’ve put together some inspiration via Pinterest!
A few things that I want in my home office…
+ Beautiful greenery. I love having some greenery in my space. It freshens everything up and keeps it vibrant. I should probably stick with faux plants though!
+ White walls, wood desk. We already have white walls in the office space, but we still need to paint the ceiling. I’m on the hunt for a big, beautiful wood desk to add for a nice contrast to the white walls. I love the natural look of a wood desk.
+ A space to get comfy! I would LOVE to have a little corner of the office to relax, read a book and get comfy. A plush loveseat would do just the trick in my small space.
+ Good use of natural light. My office space only has one window, but it does offer a decent amount of natural light midday. I will also incorporate glass and mirrors in the room for light to bounce off of.
+ Brick wall accent. How cool would this be?! I obviously can’t do real brick, but I would love to add some wallpaper to one wall to give the room an edgy, cool vibe.
