My Favourite Things To Do At Home // Round 2

A year ago, I wrote a post about things to do at home while we’re encouraged to self-isolate. Not much has changed since then, as we’re still doing our best to stay safe and healthy. At this point, I’ve watched all of the Marvel movies on Disney+ about 15 times!

That said, I thought it was time to share an updated list of my favourite things to do at home.

+ DIY projects // We love a good DIY! At this point, we’ve renovated most of our home, but we’re never done. We’re now planning some updates to our garage and patio area. Kirby and I like to build, paint and put together home projects together. Except for the closet system in the nursery… Don’t ask Kirby about that – lol.

+ Testing new recipes // I’m not much of a cook, but I’ve been working on my skills and testing out some recipes in the Oh She Glows cookbook lately. I also love to test out mocktail recipes! Drinks are much more up my alley, and I love this mocktail book that I got for Christmas.

+ Online shopping // You already know how much I love online shopping. It was starting to get a little boring for a while there, but now that shops have spring arrivals coming in, I’m back on the online shopping train! My favourite retailers to shop from are Aerie, Dynamite, Revolve, Steve Madden and Amazon. I’ve also been shopping for baby goodies from Bed, Bath & Beyond, SpearmintLOVE, Kyte Baby and H&M.

+ Backyard fires // I absolutely love sitting out in the backyard with Kirby and Odie and enjoying an evening fire. We have a nice little propane fire pit on our patio (love this fire pit!) and we like to sit out with our mocktails and keep cozy from March through to October! It’s a great way to get fresh air and kick back and relax at the same time.

What are some things to do at home that you’ve been enjoying? Hopefully, we won’t have to stay isolated much longer, but it is nice to have some activities to enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
