If you live in a place where winter is an actual season with snow and below freezing temperatures, you know the importance of good winter coats and boots. Winter in Kelowna has been mild so far this year, but you never know when a big dump of snow is on its way!
All that to say, I have experience layering up for the cold weather, so I’ve put together some must have winter coats and boots for those of you who might need some help shopping for the season.

You can be warm and dry and stylish all at the same time!
Personally, I have been eyeing this Amazon down jacket for ages now! It’s one of this season’s best sellers and comes in a bunch of colours. I also have and love these Sorel winter boots – my feet are always dry in these babies.
I find that I can get away with a short puffer jacket when out running errands, but if I’m out for a walk or hike in the winter, a long winter coat is necessary. As for boots, the Sorels are 100% necessary for snowy hikes with Odie.
