Last week we talked about denim shorts as a summer wardrobe staple, but summer dresses are just as important once the temperature starts to climb!
I love wearing breezy dresses in the summer and showing off my tan. They are also great to have on hand as a cover-up at the beach or pool.
My must-have summer dresses are:
+ A Classic LBD – You can’t go wrong with a little black dress. I love wearing black ribbed or t-shirt dresses in the summer when I’m out and about running errands. Add a cute hat and a denim jacket and you’re set!
+ Something with a fun print – It’s so easy to play with fun colours and prints in a dress. I like to wear a printed dress out for brunch or when I’m shopping. Much easier to try clothes on when you just have to slip a dress off!
+ A flirty mini dress – Spice it up for date night or a night out with the girls! I’m very into simple slip dresses for date night, or just a vibrant colour. That cowl neck style is pretty sexy!
+ Something white and flowy – Make your tan pop with a flowy, white dress. Think Grecian goddess! I like a loose fitting dress with lace details and skinny straps.
Ribbed Tank Dress / T-Shirt Dress / Checkered Dress / Cheetah Print Dress / Flowy White Maxi Dress / White Muslin Midi Dress / Emerald Ruffle Mini Dress / Orange Cowl Neck Slip Dress – pricey, but a great staple!
