If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I always need to style outfits with accessories. I love to add jewelry, hats, scarves, bags and shoes that tie together an outfit and complete the look.
Here is a peek into how I like to style with accessories for fall!
Jewelry
In the last few years, my love for jewelry, and specifically gold jewelry, has really grown. It was probably when I discovered Lavender & Grace Jewelry that I really fell in love with jewelry and started adding more to my collection.
Lavender & Grace makes the most beautiful, dainty jewelry at a reasonable price point for those of us on a budget. I wear the Love bracelets every single day, no matter my outfit, but I also like to add pieces like the Indie Coin necklace and Spencer Herringbone Chain with cozy fall sweaters or lower-cut necklines.
It’s not always easy to showcase jewelry in the fall when you’re piling on layers of clothes to keep warm, but a cute pair of earrings definitely stand out. I like L&G’s Maisy Hoops and Posie Hoops. They add just the right amount of ‘bling’ between my toque and scarf!
Hats
I am the hat queen. I love wearing hats, both to hide dirty hair and to complete an outfit. Lack of Color hats are my weakness and it’s hard for me to say no when I find one that I like! I also reach for ball caps and toques (beanies) on a regular basis.
I like to wear wide brim hats with slim fitting outfits, like a pair of skinny jeans and a bodysuit or a dress. When I’m layering up with thicker coats or puffer vests, I’ll top the look off with a knit toque to balance out the volume.
I think that I’m usually a pretty smart shopper and I only buy what I need for my wardrobe, but one look at my hat collection and you would think otherwise! Accessories are my weakness!

Scarves
Now this is a very necessary accessory in the fall and winter in Kelowna. Scarves are a great piece to have to keep warm and tie together an outfit. A lot of the looks I’ve been pinning lately include a wool coat and a cozy scarf.
I prefer smaller, thinner scarves to the huge blanket style. I find them much easier to wrap around my neck, especially with a heavy jacket on! I see myself spending the rest of the fall season in this coat with a camel or plaid scarf wrapped around my neck.

Shoes
No outfit is complete without a killer pair of shoes. Flip flops were all we really needed for summer, but now that it’s fall, it’s time to diversify our shoe choices.
My most-worn pairs of shoes in the fall are by far my combat boots, white platform sneakers, mid-calf boots and Blundstones. I love to dress up faux leather leggings, jeans or a dress with combat boots, sneakers or the mid-calf boots. Blundstones are my go-to for rainy days and hikes with my boys. And don’t forget a pair of super cozy, thick socks!

I have some much fun styling my fall outfits with accessories. A cute pair of shoes, a bracelet stack and a hat can polish off an outfit and take it to the next level.
