Happy Valentine’s Day friends! I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day, as I see it as a reminder to voice your love and appreciation for all of your loved ones, not just a significant other. Not to mention, I love candy and chocolate so…. This is my kind of special day.
I thought on this day of love that I would share a list of things that I truly love. I am lucky to have many wonderful things in my life, and I am so grateful to be able to share these six things that I love!
Odie.
I think this one is crystal clear. Odie came into my life 2.5 years ago and he changed everything for me. We have been through so much together and I would be completely lost without him. I feel like it’s a different kind of love when it’s someone or something that depends on you. We have such a strong bond and my love for that dog is deep!
The relationship that Kirby and I have.
As cheesy as it sounds, the relationship that Kirby and I have is the relationship that I had always dreamed of. We support each other’s goals and dreams, we always have fun together, we can talk through any problem and we both work hard to impress and show our love for each other. I love that I found this wonderful human and that he has brought so much joy to both my life and Odie’s life.
My incredible family.
This one is another no-brainer. I love the supportive, kind and loving family that I’ve been blessed with. They have all been so supportive of my new career, they helped me to find and purchase my first home, they’ve always helped me with Odie and I know that I can always count on them.
My best friends.
I feel very lucky to have a group of friends that I know I will always be friends with. Some of them live far away, one of them lives just two blocks from me. I love the bond that we’ve built and that we always find a way to see each other when we can.
My fixer-upper home.
It certainly is not everything that I want it to be yet, but it still blows my mind that I was able to buy myself a house on my own. I love that I have the means to renovate my fixer upper and make it uniquely mine and that it has provided Odie with a safe place to live and a great yard that he spends most of his time in. I love that Kirby and I have been able to make this our home, and as much as he says that he doesn’t care about the design, he really, really does – lol.
An Out of Office career.
I always knew that I would be an entrepreneur one day, and I love that this is something that I worked so hard for. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to create my own content, my own products, my own services.. To create whatever I want! I love having the space to be creative and to connect with so many different people in many different ways each day.
