I am by no means a travel pro, but I have learned a few things over the years on my numerous Disneyland trips that now serve me well when traveling.
If you read my post on 10 Random Facts About Me, you’ll know that I’ve finally caught the travel bug! I’ve been pinning photos of exotic locations left and right and I can’t wait to plan a few trips for the upcoming year.
That said, I definitely want to get organized with travel and the first step is to coordinate my travel essentials. These are items that I’ve come to learn are so necessary when travelling and now I can’t leave Kelowna without them!
Stylish Passport Holder
I learned this one the hard way last time I was in Disneyland. I had my passport in the front pocket of a canvas backpack on Splash Mountain and it got a little bit wet… So this time around, I’m investing in a stylish and functional passport holder to keep my documents safe. I currently use this pouch and am coveting this one.
Luxurious Moisturizer
My skin has never been as smooth and clear as it is right now, and I am NOT going to let stale airplane air dry it out! I’ve been using Laneige products for a few weeks now, including the Water Bank Moisture Cream, and I am definitely bringing this set of travel size products with me wherever I go.
Reliable Portable Charger
This is something that comes in handy whether I’m travelling or just running from meeting to meeting throughout the day. My iPhone battery just isn’t what she used to be, so a portable charger is necessary, especially when you’re taking a ton of photos and video on your phone.
Kirby and I use this portable charger and it gives us a couple of charges throughout the day.
Cute & Comfy Travelling Outfit
When I lived in Edmonton and I was flying nearly every month, I used to wear my heels to the airport so that they didn’t get squished in my carry on. NEVER AGAIN. Now, I opt for comfy, but cute loungewear and sneakers for a day of travel. So be it if I have to check a bag. It’s well worth it to feel comfortable.
Travel Water Bottle
Staying hydrated on vacation is so important! Whether you’re visiting a scorching hot location, keeping busy with a bunch of activities and excursions or just spending time in an airplane, hydration is key. How cool is this self-cleaning water bottle?
