I’m not much of a drinker, but it’s so true that you want something when you can’t have it. Lately, every time I see someone enjoying a cocktail on IG Stories, I get jealous! Lucky for me, Kirby got me this great Mocktails book for Christmas, so I’ll be set for the next five and a half months.
If you’re craving a tasty mocktail, I’m sharing four of my favourites from the book!
Blueberry Cardamom Smash
What You’ll Need
- Soda Water
- Lime Wedge
- Handful of blueberries
- Sugar
- Cardamom
- Water
How To Make: Muddle blueberries and lime wedge in a rocks glass. Add cardamom simple syrup (Heat two tablespoons cardamom, 3/4 cup of sugar and 3/4 cup of water until dissolved) and stir well. Add ice and soda water. Garnish with blueberries.
Pina Colada
What You’ll Need
- Pineapple Juice
- Crushed Ice
- Pineapple Wedge
- Mint
- Cream of Coconut
How To Make: Combine pineapple juice, crushed ice and cream of coconut in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and mint.
Mojito
What You’ll Need
- Ginger Ale
- Lime Juice
- Simple Syrup
- Mint Leaves
- Lime Slice
How To Make: Muddle mint leaves in a cocktail shaker, add syrup and lime juice along with ice, and shake. Top with ginger ale and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime slice.
Bright & Sunny
What You’ll Need
- Lime Juice
- Molasses
- Mint Sprig
- Lime Wedge
- Ginger Beer
How To Make: Combine all of the ingredients, except for the lime wedge and mint sprig, in a tall glass filled with crushed ice, layering molasses first, then ginger beer and lime juice. Garnish with lime wedge and mint sprig.
